A tangy and delicious Filipino dish. Probably one of the most sought Philippine cuisine.

Serves: 4 persons
Serving time: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
Half kilo of shrimp
2 pieces green chili pepper
2 tablespoons of fish sauce
1 piece radish
1/4 kilo of okra or lady’s finger
1 bundle of string beans
1 bundle of spinach
2 pieces of tomatoes
1 piece of onion
1 sachet of sinigang mix
3 cups of water
UTENSILS NEEDED: Saucepan, soup ladle, kitchen knife, cutting board, strainer, stove.
STEPS:
Wash the shrimp on a strainer with running water.
Dice the tomatoes and onion.
Cut the radish into desired cube size, the string beans divided into four, and the okra into diagonal half.
Cut the spinach leaves from the stalk then cut stalks into desired length.
Boil the water into a saucepan then add the onions, tomatoes, radish, okra and string beans.
After 2 minutes, add the shrimps, fish sauce and sinigang mix.
Turn down the heat and cook for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat then add the spinach and green chilli pepper.
Kain tayo!
